Communion
《Communion》 explored encounters between artworks and viewers through ceramics, photography, and metalwork. Held at Gallery Ether in Seongsu-dong in December 2021, the exhibition featured Seo Seungjun’s combinations of ceramic textures, acrylic, metal, and mirrors, inviting viewers’ reflections and gazes to become part of the work. Photographs by Kim Colin and metalwork by Kim Doeun brought distinct materials and perspectives together under a shared theme. Organized by the art team Sunnyside, the exhibition explored how an artist’s personal narrative could resonate with viewers and acquire new meanings through their experiences, encouraging a closer encounter with both art and oneself.
Communion
